Internet Tag

OK, this thing is going around. The blogger is supposed to answer these eight questions, then tag a few other bloggers, and so on, and so on...Well, I tag everyone who reads this--ha!

1. If you could have a superpower, what would you have? Why?

Invisibility. I am seriously the most curious (read: nosy) person in the world. Being invisible would expand my spying capabilities.

2. Who is your style icon?

Faye Dunaway in Bonnie and Clyde. Or Ali McGraw.

3. What is your favorite quote?

"A great thought begins by seeing something differently, with a shift of the mind's eye."

Albert Freaking Einstein. I know, I know. But I'm really not that pretentious; I just really like it. I also have a poster of this hanging in my bathroom.

4. What is the best compliment you've ever received?

Someone once told me I was the most observant person she'd ever met.

5. What playlist/cd is on your iPod/cd player right now?

My "cool chick" playlist. Emiliana Torrini, Madeline Peyroux, Joni Mitchell, Ingrid Michaelson, Feist, and Stevie Nicks.

6. Are you a night owl or a morning person?

Morning person. Totally.

7. Do you prefer dogs or cats?

Dogs. Cats always look at you like, If I were human, I'd kick your ass for the fun of it.

8. What is the meaning behind your blog name?

The Beatles. It always goes back to the Beatles, no?

Let me know if you participated so I can read yours!

  1. You are such a cool lady, and your 'cool chick' playlist sounds AMAZING!

You're a morning person!? Ick. We are probably awake at opposite hours of the day. I'm totally jealous though, because on the rare once in a blue moon occasion when I actually get up early, I seem to get so much stuff done.

  2. That was fun! Albert Einstein quotes blow my mind - the man was a genius in so many ways :)

  3. Love it! Everytime I read your blog I discover more ways we are alike. Must have something to do with our birthdate :)

I am so totally a morning person too! I have an extremely hard time staying awake after 10pm. Who am I kidding, 9pm. My favorite quote is from AE too. "Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds."

I taught B the words to Here comes the Sun this weekend while we were at M's early soccer game. I think he likes the Do do do do's the best.

  4. I am also highly observant. I can talk to you while listening to five other conversations around me. It is freakish. But, I still wouldn't want to be invisible. I seriously NEED to fly. My parents didn't teach me. Bastards.

  5. Hahaha, ohh man, I laughed so. hard. at number seven.

And you inspired Jo and I to play :) Our answers are up on the blog today. I linked to your post here--I hope that's okay!

  6. Ha Ha. I played along. Here's my post, Miss Loretta:
